Melvor Idle 2 Max Level — Level 120
The official plan for Melvor Idle 2 sets a maximum level of 120 for every skill. Here is what that means and how it compares with the original game.
What is the max level?
The official Steam plan for the full base game lists a Maximum Level of 120. This applies to the skill system as a whole — above the original Melvor Idle's level-99 cap.
Is every skill 120?
The official phrasing covers the skill system: a maximum level of 120 for the game's skills. Per-skill detail beyond the official statement is not published, and we keep the official full-base-game context rather than claiming what the current Alpha caps at.
How it differs from Melvor Idle
Melvor Idle's maximum level was 99. Melvor Idle 2 raises that ceiling to 120 — part of the deeper progression the developers describe for the sequel. Combined with 29 skills and the new skill system, the levelling curve is intended to be a fresh loop for returning players.
Do expansions raise the cap?
The developers plan regular large expansions after release that raise the level cap and continue the story. The size and schedule of those cap increases are not announced.
What about the Alpha?
The level-120 figure comes from the official full-base-game plan on Steam. Public Alpha notes do not detail the current Alpha's level cap, so nothing here claims the Alpha already reaches 120.
