What the demo is meant to test
The developers describe Next Fest as a way to put the new-player experience in front of a broad audience. The focus is how the game feels to people who already know idle games and to players who have never played one, not a promise that every planned system will be present.
What changed before Next Fest
- Astrology and the Combat Mastery Guild were called out as two major new features since the previous progress update.
- The team is working on visual improvements, quality-of-life changes, balance, bug fixes and engine performance.
- The first portion of the main storyline is being implemented with new enemies and bosses.
Next Fest is not Early Access
The demo event and the public Early Access launch are separate milestones. Steam still lists the game as planned for 2026, while the official update says there is no exact Early Access date yet. Use the Release Date page for launch status and this page for the limited demo plan.
How to follow changes
- Check the official September progress update for the current announcement.
- Wishlist the game on Steam for event and launch notifications.
- Return to this page after the developers publish the dedicated Next Fest details; the demo contents are explicitly not final yet.
